You need to define the percentage that determines if an item appears on the Family Overages FactBox on the Family Production Worksheet window. If the overage is greater than the defined percentage, then it will be displayed on the Family Overages FactBox.

For example, when the Family Prod. Planning Overage % value is 10, if the overage is less than 10% of the demand, then the overage will not be listed in the Family Overages FactBox.

To set up the planning overage percentage

  1.  In the Search box, enter manufacturing setup, and then choose Manufacturing Setup.

  2. On the Family Production FactBox, enter a value in the Family Prod. Planning Overage % field. Any family planned items that have an overage percentage greater than this value will be displayed on the Family Overages FactBox on the Family Production Worksheet window.

  3. Click OK.
