You can create a family group code, and then assign it to families that you want to group together.

To create a family group code

  1. Open the Family Groups window.

    Navigate to /Departments/Manufacturing/Product Design/Family Groups

  2. Click New.

  3. In the Code field, enter the code that represents the family group.

  4. In the Description field, enter the description of the family group.

  5. Click OK. 

    From the Families window, you can now assign a family group code to a family. Navigate to /Departments/Manufacturing/Product Design/Families.
