You may regularly need to increase the capacity of resources, such as technicians, over time.
To add resource capacity
- In the Search box, enter Resource Card, and then choose the related link. 
- On the Navigate tab, in the Planning group, choose Resource Capacity. The Resource Capacity window opens. 
- Select the resource to which you want to add capacity. 
- On the Resource Capacity Matrix toolbar, on the Planning menu, choose Set Capacity. The Resource Capacity Settings window for the selected resource opens. 
- In the Starting Date and Ending Date fields, define the time period for which you want to add capacity. 
- In the Work-Hour Template field, select the relevant template. 
- In the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday fields, you can change the template work hours. 
- On the Actions tab, choose Add Capacity to add the capacity. Choose the OK button. 
Repeat these steps for each resource to which you want to add capacity.
