In order for labels to print when Post is clicked on the Plant Material Output screen, you need to complete these steps.

Plant will look at lines on the Label Configuration window, where the Label Type is Item, to determine which inventory label will be printed.

To set up Plant labels

  1. Define the report buffer path, which is the temporary location where the label files are stored.

    Note: Ensure the path exists on your machine.

  2. Configure devices to print when posting from Plant.

    1. Open the JustFoodERP Plant Device Groups window.

    2. Select the device group that you want to print when posting output.

    3. Click Configuration. The Plant Device Configuration window opens.

    4. On the Material Output FastTab, select Post & Print for the Post Action field.

    5. Click OK.

  3. If required, create a custom Word layout report for the Inventory label (23019508).

  4. Select the layouts that you want to print for the Inventory Label report.

    1. Open the Label Configuration window.

      Navigate to /Departments/Administration/Application Setup/Warehouse/Labels/Label Configurations.

    2. Click Edit List.

    3. Select Item for the Label Type field.

    4. Select the item, vendor (source) and locations that the label will apply to.

    5. Select the report ID that represents the Inventory label. The provided report is 23019508.

    6. If you created a custom layout, select the layout in the Layout ID field.

    7. Enter the number of extra labels to be printed in the No. of Copies field. If you don't want any extra labels to be printed, enter 0 (zero).

    8. Click OK.

  5. Update the Plant configuration.

    1. Open Plant.

    2. From the Plant Home page, click Plant.

    3. Click Options.

    4. Click Update Config.

    5. Click OK to close the Options screen.
