Open the Config. Packages window.

Specifies a list of configuration packages.

In the Configuration Packages window, you can customize and refine existing packages. You can also create new packages. Finally, when the package is complete and meets your needs, you export the package to a .rapidstart file, which delivers the package contents in a compressed format, and share it with your customers.

When you create a new company, the OPENING INVENTORY package is added to the configuration packages. The OPENING INVENTORY package can be used to import data into the company. The Item Journal table, in the OPENING INVENTORY package, allows lot numbers, item expiration dates and net weights to be loaded into the Item Journal, and then be posted without adding item tracking.

The Get Database Data action copies all of the existing database records into the package data for each of the tables. The data is validated as it is copied.

The Create Clean Company Package action opens the Create Clean Company Package window, which allows you to create a Clean Company package, which is pre-populated with a list of JustFoodERP tables that contain transaction data. Once the Clean Company package is created, you can add or delete tables as required. You can then run the Delete Database Data action from the Config. Package Card window to delete the data in the listed tables, and end up with a clean company that has setup data but not transaction data.

The Export Uncompressed Package action exports an uncompressed XML file containing the tables in the selected package. This function would typically be used by a JustFoodERP Services team.
