The e-mail codes are used to define the text that will be in the e-mail. The e-mail codes only apply to the following events: Sales Invoice, Purchase Order and Customer Statement.

To set up e-mail codes

  1. Open the E-mail Codes window.

    Navigate to Departments/Administration/Application Setup/Event Notification/E-mail Codes.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter a value in the Code field.

  4. Enter a description of the e-mail code.

  5. On the Navigate tab, in the E-mail group, choose Text. The E-mail Text List window opens.

  6. Click New. The E-Mail Text window opens.

  7. Enter the text that you want to include in the e-mail in the Text field.

  8. Click OK.

  9. Click Close on the E-mail Text List window.

  10. Click OK on the E-Mail Codes window.
