Before completing these steps, ensure that Commerce (on the Actions tab) was clicked on the Web Services window. This step should have been done during the Commerce installation.

These steps export the customer roles to Commerce and then assign the items to the roles.

To export data to Commerce

  1. In the Search box, enter commerce, and choose Commerce Setup. The Commerce Setup window opens.

  2. On the Home tab, in the Process group, choose Update Website Customers.

    Note: The customer data must be imported first.

  3. On the Home tab, in the Process group, choose Update Website Items.
